AUDIO ART STATEMENT CABLES - REVIEW
“Wires” are an interesting aspect of most high end hi–fi systems. Some folks consider them interchangeable, with lowest cost being the most important factor. After all, how important can resistance and capacitance be when cable lengths are often a meter or less? Some budget–driven enthusiasts have compared a wire coat hanger with a dedicated “audio” cable and found no discernible difference. How can that be if cables are that important?
GRIMM AUDIO SQM CABLES - REVIEW
I have gone on in some detail regarding those who assume an almost ideological belief in the fact that “there is no difference in the sound of cables, any cables.” And I have heard noted audio manufacturers echo or believe this very same statement. I must admit that the latter revelation was indeed both perplexing and shocking. How could someone in the audio industry, some one who sets about building components with their various microchips, resistors, capacitors, power sources, differing wires, etc., not know? I have pondered long and hard on this, and have arrived at two conclusions.
AUDIENCE FRONTROW RESERVE - REVIEW
The AFRR cables became exceptional arbiters in providing insight far beyond the much more expensive cables that had long been a part of my two-channel reference system. In this respect, they lifted the bar, with regard to overall performance, dismissed price as a consideration, and moved quite a bit beyond their siblings
TRON AES/EBU DIGITAL - REVIEW
As mentioned above, there are reviews that write themselves. This review of the BlackCat TRON AES/EBU digital cable is one of those reviews. So profound are its abilities and talents that the review simply flowed and I simply wrote that which the TRON AES/EBU was telling me to write via its voice. And a truly superb voice it is. Suffice to say, that the brevity of this review, I don’t generally write short reviews, speaks to the profound and immediate ability of the BlackCat TRON AES/EBU digital cable.
RSX BEYOND POWER CORDS - REVIEW
The RSX BEYOND is an easy award-winner of our highest award. Suffice to say, that it is our first DIAMOND AWARD winner for a cable. There be magic in that there power cable.
ANTICABLE SUITE - REVIEW
ANTICABLE has long touted its cables as giant killers and so it appears that they are, as was demonstrated throughout this review from cable type to cable type against a very expensive competitor and a competitor of equal pricing, both well known to the audiophile cognoscenti.
