BLUESOUND NODE ICON - REVIEW
Bluesound’s fanciest offering adds Compact Disc ripping, internal storage, along with a beefier internal computer capable of smooth multitasking. At $1149, Bluesound’s NODE ICON is situated comfortably in that affordable second tier, providing convenient, high fidelity in a visually seamless, stylish package.
GRIMM AUDIO MU2 STREAMING/DAC/PREAMP - REVIEW
The Grimm Audio MU2 as a complete streaming DAC is unparalleled in its ability to render one’s music in a way that is technically superb, while bringing unquestioned musicality that rivals some of the best and most expensive analog rigs.
BAETIS AUDIO REFERENCE 4 MINGO STREAMER - REVIEW
The Baetis Audio Reference 4 Mingo demonstrated the ability to be more “alive,” more real, and more natural than any digital component should have a right to be. Furthermore, it is the only streamer to have relegated to obscurity the best of the best CD players, which a short time ago I did not believe possible.
BAETIS AUDIO REVOLUTION X4 STREAMER - REVIEW
The Baetis Audio Revolution X4 brings a naturalness, an ease, and a sweetness to recordings that will have analog-lovers fully engaged while also providing the high-fidelity technicalities—soundstaging, resolution, transparency, detail retrieval, etc.—for those long wedded to the evolving digital audio world. The Revolution X4 is an outstanding digital streamer that I am certain believes itself to be a synthesis of both digital and analog.
SILENT ANGEL MUNICH M1 & FORESTER F1 - REVIEW
The Silent Angel Munich M1 and Forester F1, the“Tiny Tots,” while quite small represent an ideal entry-level streamer, linear power supply duo. The value to cost ratio is very good at a combined price for the Tots at $2,049. The Munich M1 will easily compete with your computer but it will need the Forester F1 LPS to bring things to equal with the Roon Nucleus Plus. … In short, the Silent Angel Munich M1 and Forester F1s provide a great deal of music and technical/high fidelity skills for relatively little cost.
SILENT ANGEL RHEIN Z1 & FORESTER F2 - REVIEW
Wow! These grooved, little, metal, black boxes carry a wallop of high-fidelity goodness and compelling musicality that clearly sets them far above their combined price. And I must admit, having reviewed, auditioned, and owned some very high value/cost streamers, I am very impressed by the Silent Angel Rhein Z1 and the Forester F2 combo.
