THE AUDIO COMPANY

There was incredible tone/timbre, texture, and nuance that together pulled me into The Audio Company’s room and in no too subtle a way. And there I sat fully engaged with the music.

The two smallish Von Schweikert Endeavor Special Edition speakers were definitely performing superbly and, for all intents and purposes, it’s as if they were not there. A vanishing act of sorts that simply left the music. The Endeavors were helped along by two Von Schweikert Shockwave subwoofers, which were, no doubt, responsible for the incredible top to bottom balance.

Had I not ventured to the second floor to peruse albums, I would not have known that this setup was even there, via The Audio Company! And that would have been quite the shame. This was music and it was d%#m good!

It’s ‘front end’ components from the Transroter turntable to the Esoteric streamers and SACD/CD players were, well, “Making Whoopee!” And there I sat listening intently.

In my experience, never have so many ‘Big’ rooms made so much beautiful music. Often it’s a hit and run affair—peek in, hear, run! But there were several big rooms at the Capital Audio Fest that were superb and this was one of them. Another nod for a Best of the Show candidate.
